Thank you for your interest in participating as a citizen scientist in PROJECT WILDBIRD, a landmark study of food and feeder preferences of wild birds in the United States and Canada. Below is a description of PROJECT WILDBIRD's experimental approach, and an application form to participate.

EXPERIMENTAL APPROACH: We also seeking dedicated bird feeder enthusiasts to participate in PROJECT WILDBIRD'S Experimental Approach. Similar to the Observational Approach, citizen scientists in the Experimental Approach will be monitoring birds during each of the four seasons. In the Experimental Approach, citizen scientists will be provided with feeders and seeds and asked to regularly monitor birds that visit these feeders year-round. The Experimental Approach will require a large time commitment and participants must be able to follow a well-defined protocol.
